110 participants will experience three days of media workshops, political discussions, hands-on media production and invaluable insights into the European Parliament and international media milieu.
Each young journalist taking part in the EYMD2016 will work to produce a report on the topic of the seminar through their medium of choice: video, photo, radio, print, multimedia and new media.
This year, since the EYMD are being held to coincide with the European Youth Event, the young journalists will take part in a large newsroom operation that will create media products about the EYE events. The latter brings together more than 7,000 young people from across Europe to discuss current issues.

Young journalists aged between 18 and 30 who are interested in applying must do so via the European Youth Press website until midnight of Sunday 20 March 2016.
